Early morning play.

"Mom, I know what...you could put some buffaloes on my hot chocolate."

Any guesses what she means?

No clue, my lovely niece! She must mean marshmallows but isn't it amazing how the mind works in learning new words?!!! Where did she get that?! (I spent the last 30 seconds saying "buffaloes...marshmallows" like a 3 yr old, experimenting to see how the tongue mixes those 2 words.) And what are you doing drinking hot chocolate on a TX summer day? Phew.

Yes, you are right - marshmallows - but there was no chocolate milk or hot chocolate or marshmallows in the house.
