What is Up?!

I tend to shy away from writing and usually think it is sufficient to post pictures only on the blog.  However I thought I would try to spend a couple minutes catching you up on our life.

Wes (aka Mr Muffin) turned one last week and it is very strange to have a one year old, a two year old, and a five year old.  Wes spends his time fighting for survival and toys with Jack.  Most of the time he loses but he's pretty tough.  His two bottom teeth look like are about to come it (first ones). So right now he's dealing with a lingering cold, teething, and the soreness of his first episode of ant bites.  So sad.  We are in the stage where he is against taking two naps but can't make it yet on just one.  He's pulling himself up whenever he can, our windowsills are the perfect height.  Walking is definitely a couple months off though.  We weighed him and Jack a week ago on our scale at home and it showed them to be 5 lbs a part.  Wes is 22 lbs.

Jack (aka Goose) is living up the terrible twos in full force.  He loves pushing his brother around, even without reason.  His speech has improved over the past month but I'm glad to be back for his regular speech lessons on Tuesday Thursday.  He loves sleeping with Elmo in his crib - I moved him out of the bunk bed after a couple nights with him wandering the house at strange hours.  He tries to keep up with Lillian always.  They are having a lot of fun on the trampoline but haven't figured out how to share turns. He is our mini-Kyle and that is visible not only by his looks but with his funny faces and mischief.  He's a great eater - loves blueberries and any of Wes' baby snacks.  He is about 27 lbs.

Lillian (aka Mrs Moash Moash) is our very old 5 year old.  She says the darndest things, of which I promptly forget. She loves to jump, loves loves.  She has been sleeping quite well at night due to all the exercise she gets now.  She is a big helper and is able to do so many things by herself.  I'm always curious what outfit she'll put on for the day.  She is very ready for school and loves any interaction with other kids. I can't believe she'll be spending 7 hours away from me M-F starting next August!  She has mentioned not going to school though - just so she won't miss us.  She loves her Daddy and usually is up for a good snuggle.  Lillian is tall and skinny - she's been holding at around 40 lbs for over a year now.

No time to write about Kyle and I, Lillian is calling for me to come help her with Valentine cards.  :)
