Wilmore week 2 and Weekend visitors


Jack and Lillian went to VBS at Wilmore Free Methodist church this week.  Jack said he was bored on Tuesday so after one more day of trying it out he stayed home with Wes and I the last days (I can't blame him since he didn't know a soul and I'm sure he didn't talk once in those three hours).  Thursday the boys and I went to the seminary family back porch VBS of sorts.  The boys chose soccer and baseball to participate in but it started pouring about 10:45 and we came home.  Wes definitely needs a tee-ball set though, he loved that.
Jack had a quite the week of falls.  Monday he got a scrape across his face. Wednesday evening he was in the tub and must have banged his cheek bone into the tub.  When asked all he remembers is the pain with getting soap in his eyes. Then Friday morning come back from breakfast he rain into someone and fell flat on his face busting his lip and scraping the outside.


This is why we call him Mr Cozy. 








Lillian finished VBS Friday at noon and then we waiting excitedly for Mandy and David to arrive.  They got in for a late lunch and stayed for about 24 hours.  We went to a park, had Friday night pizza together, went for walks around campus and then overlapped with M/D Welty for lunch Saturday.

*Warning* Flashback in process*

As I'm laying here on bed rest, I can't stop thinking about having a newborn a my arms. But alas, I'm still at home waiting for this baby to decide to come. My Tuesday appointment showed an elevated blood pressure (same occurred with the other two) and so I spent 2.5 hours at the hospital for monitoring and lab tests. With normal results I was sent home (thank you thank you) on bed rest. This means little to no movement around. Grammy is most affected by this and she's doing an amazing job with Lillian and Jack - in fact, she's doing everything, including taking care of me and the household chores. Wow! The good news is that I've moved on from 2cm (16 days ago) to 4cm. So really, it's up to the babe to realize what a great family and world awaits him on this side :) It could be he/she is waiting for Kyle and I to decide on a good name - suggestions anyone?
